Maths in Room 6
We have been working on fractions. Children were using paper clips to make even parts on their strip of paper. We discovered things like - You need 2 paper clips to make 3 equal parts, thirds.
One of our maths groups practised their number bonds to 10. They created their own (some very interesting) stories to go with their number problem.

During Term 3 we visited the Arrowtown Museum, Miss Gray's classroom and the Chinese mining village. We discovered lots of new things about gold mining and life 150years ago.Monday 13 August 2012
